Fall is in the air!

Well It has been a while since I have been on here. I really love the fall weather! It gives me new energy for new things. I am going through all my patterns and looking for new things to crochet this fall and winter. It would be nice to find some fun projects to do for the Christmas season. We have had a busry summer with traveling to lots of places here in the states and we still have one more to go in December. We will be taking a tour of all the Hawaiian Islands for a few weeks.  We are really looking forward to doing that! It will be in celabration of our 45th wedding anniversary! My sweet hubby deserves a medal for sticking with me that long for sure. :o) I know I am not that easy to live with some times.

It is a beautiful day today!

   It looks like Spring might actually be trying to come today.The sky is beautiful and it is about 55 degrees out there.  I hope it stays for a few days this time. I have had enough of the winter weather!
   We are celabrating 3 of the 4 birthdays this month tomorrow at our house so I have been cooking and getting things ready today. My oldest little grandchild is turning 13! My how the time has flown by. I remember when she was born a little 2 and a half pound premie and so fragile. You wouldn/t know it now. She is still petite but perfect in every way. We are so blessed to have all healthy kids and grandkids.
   I would be doing nothing but counting all day if I sat and counted all my blessing.  I am so thankful for all I have. : )

Good Super Bowl Game!

Glad the Packers won. Now for a night of sleep I hope.  Was awake at 2 this morning and haven't been asleep again yet. : )

Crocheting

Well when you can't sleep then I guess it is good to have something constructive to do : ) I have been Crocheting now since 2 AM and it is 4:30.  I have crocheted 6 dish cloths, 10 scrubbies and worked some on a baby afghan I'm making. I think I need some new projects to do that will keep me interested. Anyone out there with new patterns to share let me know! : )
